This year, I will be hosting TWO rituals for Winter Solstice - one will be online, and the other will be in person for the local community. This is for the IN PERSON which will be held on Wednesday December 20th from 7:00-8:30PM est at the Portland New Church (302 Stevens Ave.).
Although the solstice is on the 21st, I always host my rituals prior so that you can really be IN the day on the 21st. This ritual will create space for each participant to honor the darkness of the year and the darkness they hold, while also opening up to the possibility of light that the Rebirth of the Sun brings.
The ritual will include music, readings, interspiritual insights about the themes of the different religious/spiritual holidays this time of year, and time for personal reflection about your own experience of the dark and light. I’ve shared a bit more about what you can expect in the video below.
The event is $15, but if for any reason that doesn’t feel doable, please contact me - I never want finances to be an obstacle.
